Success is Around the Corner 8/20/08
Well, this week is half over and wow! Where did the week go? We have been trying to get the schedule modified and make sure we have plenty of time for our subjects. As a result of this adjustment, many of the students have had a lot of homework this week. Once we get going, the homework will be more uniform. Please make sure you are signing your child's planner each night and that your student continues to bring all their books and planner to class every day.Also, we will be reorganizing the notebooks in the morning. Each child will have 5 folders with paper for the subjects they will need to do most of the writing in: Math, Language, Science, Spelling, History. One subject will be done in one notebook. Penmanship, Bible and Reading will be done in the textbooks.
The History Quiz was a success. I was very pleased with everyone's performance on the first quiz and am looking forward to every one doing outstanding on Friday's tests. Thanks for all your support, it is definitely going to make this year a success!
