Well, today has been extremely interesting! I would say we are getting back to the basics of school behavior today. We had some issues in the lunchroom with students not behaving and throwing food/spitting their drink at other students. We will be sitting in assigned seats for the rest of the week and having a full 30 minute silent lunch. Unfortunately, lunch was not a good break time today nor was it a safe place as several students have either food or drink on their uniform as a result. Also, we are practicing walking in a straight, single-file, quiet line. Most of the students are doing better with this. I think we will be able to get acclimated to school behavior soon--please help me out with this. Thanks for your help and understanding.
I have posted grades on the online system. Please make sure your child is completing their homework, following directions for homework, and studying for tests/quizzes. The grades will improve as the 9 weeks progresses and more grades are taken. Tests count for 50%, homework is 20%, quizzes are 20%, and daily grades are 10%.
There is no homework tonight other than studying for a science quiz for tomorrow. The students have a study guide they copied off the board, please help them study this for tomorrow.

But seriously, the spitting food and all is unsanitary and flat out gross! Hope that doesnt happen again.
