Back on Track 9/3/08
Today was a much better day. We were able to accomplish all that we needed to and tomorrow is a busy day as well. I think this week is going to be successful, inspite of the crunch of only a four day work week. The history quiz went pretty well; however, several students did not do as well as I had hoped on the math test. I am going to be working with some of the students individually to help improve mastery of some of the math skills. Also, I will be contacting some parents to keep them current on their child's progress.We have been working on team building activities and group work to enhance our abilities as a whole class. I think many students are doing well working together and appreciate the opportunity for interaction with each other. Please encourage your child to make the most of their opportunities in the classroom to build friendships and to enjoy every aspect of their educational experience.
