The Day After 9/2/08
The day after a holiday is always hard to get back into the swing of things. Today was definitely a challenge for all of us to get up and stay focused. Many of the students were complaining of being tired and sluggish, so we did a lot of group work and took a few extra minutes for recess. I hope everyone comes to school refreshed tomorrow and ready to get back into our routine. I know I am going to bed earlier! This week is going to be a bit of a challenge for the students to overcome, because it is a shorter week. Please help your student study and get refocused.We have several tests and quizzes this week. I am conscious of the short time frame so I am giving in-depth study guides and reviewing heavily so the students can do their best. Please watch the planners and also the folders to follow up with this extra help.
